Our ISO accredited machine shop based in Newcastle specialises in the design, manufacture and repair of hydraulic cylinders and manifolds suitable for a wide range of applications.

About You

• Relevant Trade Qualifications (Diesel, Mechanical or Hydraulic Fitter)
• Strong knowledge of Hydraulic systems and pump repair processes
• Ability to prepare and submit customer quotes
• Strong customer focus and clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prepare clear and concise service reports
• Valid drivers' licence and the flexibility to work overtime as required.

The Role

• Lead a team of tradespeople and apprentices, overseeing their work, and assigning tasks to meet deadlines effectively.
• Understand workshop workflow and collaborate with team on job scheduling and resource allocation to achieve maximum efficiency and economy.
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.
• Promoting and demonstrating safety behaviours and reporting processes.
