About the Opportunity

We have a great opportunity available for a Lawyer to join our national organisation.

Located in our brand-new modern office in Norwest, this role will see you utilising your professional qualification and experience to provide day-to-day assistance with legal matters across the Questas Group of companies.

The role reports to the General Counsel and encompasses legal matters such as 

• Reviewing customer and supplier contract and the preparation of departures schedule.
• Supporting the M&A legal due diligence process.
• Ensuring that the corporate governance is maintained with appropriate scheduling, recording and minuting of Board, BARC, Remuneration and Nomination meetings.
• Supporting the group of companies in maintaining IP; including renewal of trademarks business names and patents.
• Proactively seek ways to provide legal assistance which meets business' requirements.
• Assist General Counsel in any legal dispute or litigation matters, utilising external legal advice as required.

About You

• We feel the role would suit you if you have approximately two to six years experience within either Contracts, M&A or Corporate Law.
• A qualified Lawyer admitted to practice law in Australia.
• Commercially astute, solution oriented, an avid learner, able to generate creative options and think ahead to anticipate potential problems.
• Attention to detail is critical to your success in this role.
• Ability to triage multiple priorities and work autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate personal accountability for performance.
