About the Opportunity

Due to steady growth across Berendsen Fluid Power, we are on the looking for a Fitter to join our high performing team. Richlands QLD

As a Hydraulic Fitter, you will be working across a range of industrial sectors, providing breakdown and diagnostics support on hydraulic systems and equipment used in fixed plant and mobile equipment.

Your Tasks

• Repair and overhaul hydraulic cylinders used in a variety of applications.
• Strip, measure, inspect and report on all components.
• Cleaning and preparing components.
• Assemble and testing of cylinders.
• Provide routine preventative maintenance services on existing hydraulic equipment.
• Perform allocated work within the workshop, which will include cylinder rebuilds, pump and motor repairs and testing.

About You

• Relevant trade qualification (Cert III minimum, higher would be desirable).
• Hydraulic cylinder overhaul and diagnostic experience (desirable).
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics together with sound report writing capabilities.
• Valid Driver’s Licence and demonstrated safety first mindset.
