About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Storeperson to join our team at our Maryland Branch.

As the Storeperson, you will be responsible for receiving, handling and dispatch of goods in stores and warehouses in order to support branch operations whilst also assisting in the control of stock.

Your Tasks

• Load and unload deliveries from transport companies that require a forklift.
• Check off inbound deliveries as they are received, ensuring the quality is good and we have received the correct product and quantity as per our purchase order.
• Receipt all delivery dockets into our network system and contact the supplier if there are any discrepancies
• Wrap, strap and pack all outgoing orders.
• Dispatch orders to our customers by organising the preferred transport company.
• Invoice Sales Orders and ensure all orders are as per the customer purchase order prior to dispatching.
• Complete the electronic Shipping Manifest as orders are dispatched.
• Monthly inventory stock take.

About You

• Experience working as a Storeperson within a Warehousing environment.
• Valid Drivers Licence and Forklift ticket.
• Able to work well autonomously and within a team and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
• Strong attention to detail, effective communication and time management skills.
• Sound computer literacy in Microsoft Office and ERP systems ideally.
• Demonstrated safety first mindset and a desire to develop a long standing career within the Berendsen business.
