Service Administrator

About the Opportunity

Join the Swanson Industries team in Mackay as a Service Administrator and drive the administration processes for our busy workshop.

This is an exciting role within a successful and growing branch that will present you with growth opportunities as you develop in the role.  You will be a key partner to the Branch Manager and key workshop personnel, as well as various other departments throughout the company.

Your Tasks

• Support workflow through the workshop ensuring parts are ordered, monitored, followed up and that the team is kept informed.
• Raise jobs, purchase orders, invoices and job data in the ERP.
• Work closely with Account Managers and Leading Hands.
• Maintain service job records, timesheets, quality assurance data and documents.
• Prepare timesheets for the service team and liaise with payroll for queries.
• Processing cash and account sales.
• Customer communication as agreed with the Account Managers.

About You 

• You will have a real passion for this type of role, bringing enthusiasm, energy and desire to achieve great results. 
• Experience working in a similar role will be advantageous.
• Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Very strong administrative and data entry capabilities.
• Organised with strong attention to detail.
• The ability to prepare clear and concise documentation.
• Be process orientated, ensuring consistency in approach with the broader Swanson business.
• Computer literacy - Microsoft Office (strong in Excel) and ideally familiar with ERP systems.
