About the Opportunity
Waltan Tools and Equipment are seeking a motivated Internal Sales and Operations Coordinator to join our team in Keswick.
You will play a pivotal role within the company as you undertake all facets of business operations in a fast paced and supportive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service over the phone, face to face and via email.
- Processing customer orders, entering these into our system, placing purchase orders and liaising with suppliers.
- Preparing quotations and sending to customers.
- Conducting warehouse activities including receipting stock in, dispatching, invoicing and shipping.
- Assisting with site deliveries.
- Providing administration support to our external sales and workshop teams.

About You
- A track record of providing an extremely high level of customer service ideally in a technical environment.
- Ideally you will have experience with internal sales, admin, procurement, purchasing and/or warehouse procedures.
- You will be great at time management and be able to juggle multiple tasks at any one time. You will be able to work autonomously.
- You are an energetic person by nature and someone who will thrive in a fun, fast paced work environment. You will have a willingness to learn and an eagerness to have day to day input in how we can make our company better.
- Knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets).
- A trade certificate in a mechanical or technical field would be highly desirable to us, as would tertiary education in sales, procurement, logistics and/or warehousing.
